Anime Boston
March 12 is the last day to turn in any money for Anime Boston. If we do not get enough people to go we will either cancel the trip or work out some sort of consensus among those still wanting to go.
Anime Boston takes place on April 22-24, 2011 (spring fair weekend?) at the Hynes Convention Center and Sheraton Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts. The plan is to leave on Friday afternoon and come back by Sunday afternoon (by plane). Due to budget constraints, only 5 people will be allowed to go. You will also all be sharing the same hotel room. So if you have problems rooming with the opposite sex, don't sign up unless you make your own living arrangements. At the moment, the cost to go from you will be $100 to cover the hotel expense. This cost may go lower depending on whether or not everyone that is going will agree to staying 0.5 miles from the convention center rather than 0.2 miles or at the actual convention site. We will refund you any leftovers and will cover all transportation and registration fees so long as you bring any appropriate receipts/stubs back to a board member.
YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO BACK OUT once committed to this trip! This is due to regulations and non-refundable issues with airplane tickets. If you back out at that point, you will be responsible for the FULL price of the trip (registration + plane ticket cost + hotel cost). As a result, we ask that before you hand the $100 deposit to any board member that will confirm your seat on the trip, make absolutely sure that YOU WILL GO! As usual, this will operate on a first come, first serve basis.
