JHAC is considering throwing a leech party at some point this semester. What is a leech party though?
A leech party is basically where everyone brings all/part of their collection and exchange goods. These could be actual manga, light novels, visual novels, dvds, blu-rays, vhs, hard drive files, etc... We're hoping to get a lan box for those interested in exchanging files to help make exchanges faster. While we will try to keep this limited to anime-related items it will not be heavily enforced. However, there are rules that will be enforced, which will be announced at a future date if there is enough interest. The catch to all this is that NO MONEY will be allowed for any exchange.
Again, more details at a future date, but for now, vote on the poll.
Current dates up for consideration include the weekend before spring break (March 11 or 12), JohnCon weekend (April 8-10), Spring Fair weekend (April 22 or 23), the last official set of meetings (April 29 or 30), and the last day of class (May 6). All other suggestions are welcome.
