This week we will be a visual novel along with the regularly scheduled anime.
Visual novels are quite popular in Japan and are a source for anime
adaptions. In general, they are text-based with accompanying still
images, but many are voiced to some degree. In addition, many have
choices that the reader can make, leading to a number of
different "routes" and different endings.
The one we will be showing this weekend, Planetarian, is a short, linear VN set in a post-apocalyptic city.

Iltoa, have been at war for over a century and now
settled on a ceasefire. Allison is a pilot in the Roxche air force and
one day reunites with Will, her companion from the House of Future,
where they were orphans. Together they find themselves embroiled in an
adventure in enemy territory to find a fabled
treasure that will hopefully end the war and bring peace to both
